Cancellation and Refund Policy

BOOKINGS:

  • Bookings for training courses can be made by contacting us via our social media platforms with the course you wish to study and we will issue an invoice for payment or you can book a course directly. Booking can also be made via our online booking system on the website klacademy.co.uk, where you will be given options to pay a non-refundable booking fee either of full payment or 50% of the balance with the remainder due 7 days prior to the course start date.   • Treatments also require a minimum booking fee of 50% which is non-refundable and can be paid by bank transfer, cash or card payment. Some treatments including all aesthetics {anti-wrinkle/lip filler} may require full payment.
  • Please understand a large portion of theory may be delivered in the form of pre-study modules via our online training platform. This allows us to give more practical training time, and usually with more in-house case studies. We may reiterate some of this theory during the hands-on training day and will give you the opportunity to ask any questions in relation to that topic. We suggest that you make notes from both your online theory training and hands-on training day although you will also receive full access to all the digital training resources upon completion of your training. This will include the training manual and referenced documents such as consultation and aftercare forms.
  • Our courses cannot be taught anywhere else other than with us. All of our training materials have fully copyright to KL Academy and legal action will be taken against anyone who uses our materials as part of another training course.
  • If you attend one of our courses and feel the course is not for you, we DO NOT offer any refunds and once you have attended or started online trainings, we do offer for you to come back on another day and redo your training course; if you do not feel confident but this is rare as we give full support.
  • Once we have processed your payment, we will send your Booking confirmation, outlining the essential information including everything you need to know about start dates and times as well as venue information. This will also give you the opportunity to inform us of any special assistance you may require or if you have any specific dietary requirements. If you do not receive a booking confirmation at least 3 days before your practical training, please call us on 07530 022 881.
  • KL Academy cannot accept responsibility for student’s changes to work commitments, illnesses or changes to personal circumstances and will not be able to offer an alternative training date and will not refund fees if 7 days’ notice is not given.

COURSE FEES INCLUDE:

  • Tuition fees.
  • Training Materials/products used during training and training kits where applicable.
  • You must ensure that you attend every hour of your course, on which you are booked. Our course content is designed to meet very high criteria. Failure to attend all of your course, may result in you not obtaining your training certificate.
  • All bookings made are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your training course, you must provide a minimum of 7 days’ notice and we will re-schedule your booking where possible. In the event of a ‘no-show’, you will not be refunded and your training course will not be transferable and will only be re-booked with full payment.
  • If you make a course booking under the distance selling regulations and your course starts less than 14 days later, you agree to forfeit your rights to a refund in the event that you cancel your course. Course fees for cancellations within 14 days of the course date will not be refunded or transferred.
  • If you fail to attend your course, you are booked on, on the day of training and have given no prior written notice to KL Academy, then your course fees will not be refunded and no transfer will be offered.
  • KL Academy reserves the right to alter published programs, tutors, fees or venues, without prior notice. In the very rare event of a course being cancelled or rescheduled, you will be offered another available training date, but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred. You will only be offered 2 other optional training dates.
  • KL Academy does not guarantee any student will pass their course, we must ensure you demonstrate full competency and meet our required standards.Students must be 18 yearsor over at the time they commence their training course.
  • All students are required to adhere to the Health and Safety Policies, Security Policies, Student Conduct, Client Confidentiality, Data Protection and any other policy or regulation set by KL Academy.

       

    PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

    LIABILITY:

  • KL Academy does not accept any responsibility for any students who fail to obtain public liability insurance or follow the course instructions.

  • By booking your place on one of our courses you have agreed to the terms and conditions above and must ensure you meet the legal minimum training entry.
